XAM Consulting is a high-growth company and we have an opportunity for a permanent, full-time, hands-on **Lead Consultant.**

This will mean that you’ll solve complex problems, design solution architectures, mentor the team, set an example, implement architecture best practices and be the go-to technical person for your projects.
Communication skills are a must, as a consultant you need to be both a technical master and communicate clearly to customers to obtain their trust.

As a Lead Consultant, you will be tasked with the following:*
- Actioning the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework to assess, plan, deploy and manage cloud implementations
- Using Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks and tools to generate repeatable deployments
- Engaging with customers in the pre-sales phase to elicit broad requirements and generate high-level estimates
- Creation and execution of XAM’s Accelerators for DevOps
- Creation of solution designs, project plans, architecture diagrams and other artefacts to support the above activities
- Educating other members of the team on cloud best practice

You are someone with experience in:*
- Designing cloud solutions with modern architecture like microservices, CQRS and event sourcing
- Deciding on the right resource for a particular job, based on your deep understanding of the benefits and capabilities of Azure technologies
- Delivering Azure-based solutions following Microsoft best practice
- Implementing modern CI/CD pipelines, incorporating concepts such as green/blue, deployment slots, code analysis, trunk-based development, consistency and repeatability
- Mentoring teams in cloud native practices
