We are seeking a seasoned Consulting Services Manager to lead our consulting practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our management team and their subsequent team members. This includes assisting the sales team with sales activities such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOW's). You will also work closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Managing Consultants, and leads to act as a liaison between the consulting team and executive management.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

  1. Oversee responsibility for projects across the practice.
  2. Assist Engagement Managers and team members when needed to identify project needs, reduce risk and develop solutions and strategies.

Sales Support:

  1. Support the RFP response and pursuit process for consulting work.

Team Leadership:

  1. Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications.
  2. Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
  3. Establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; build consensus and achieve goals through influence.

People Development:

  1. Perform the role of mentor and coach.
  2. Analyze team skills and provide cross-training to maintain teams' ability to staff projects appropriately.

Performance Management:

  1. Establish direct reports' goals and objectives during the bi-annual review process.
  2. Direct the collection of performance feedback from customers and engagement/project managers on a quarterly basis or upon completion of projects for your entire team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess 3-5 years of Workday (or other ERP) consulting implementation experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience leading a virtual team.
  • Fast learner, detail-oriented, decisive, and enjoys fast-paced work environments.
  • Work well within and across teams to get things accomplished.
  • Possess sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects.
