**LEAD CONSULTANT**

**What might your typical day look like?**
- Combine design-led problem solving, delivery excellence and technical mastery to deliver digital solutions
- Commitment to business outcomes, leading transformation, taking ownership of your work, and mastering your craft
- Take the technical lead on projects
- Be the go-to technical person for stakeholders
- Assist with the software development practices
- Hands-on enterprise-level software development on projects - lead by example
- Assist with the hiring process of top calibre software engineers
- Use your skills and judgement to t-shirt size epics, story-point backlog items, or estimate the hours on a task
- Design, implement and take ownership of solution architectures for projects
- Take overall ownership of project delivery from a technical perspective
- Conduct code reviews

**You are someone with**:

- Proficiency in your chosen area of expertise - be that.NET, Azure, modern web frameworks, or mobile development
- Communication skills that make clients love working with you
- A history of successfully delivered projects
- A desire to mentor and teach, who wants those around you to succeed in their careers
- Outstanding development skills in multiple languages or technologies

**It would also be great if you**:

- Can work across the entire stack
- Have experience leading software development teams
- Have DevOps and cloud best-practice experience, preferably within Azure

**Our stack**:

- XAM is a digital consulting service and therefore works with numerous clients and tech stacks.
- We are Microsoft Gold partners and are known for our strong association with.Net and Xamarin
- At the same time, we are also rapidly scaling our Flutter, React, and Azure capabilities.

**People you will work within XAM**:

- Report directly to the Technical Director (TD)
- A part of the Tech Leads working group, helping the TD to set the technical direction of the business
- Business Development Managers, to provide estimates and help shape quotes
- The Design Director, marrying technical solutions to design requirements
- Developers, Senior Developers and Consultants on your project or others, providing guidance and mentorship
