**Your new company**

Hays is proud to be partnering with one of Tasmania’s largest tourism business in their search for an energetic, motivated Account Manager to join their growing team on a full-time permanent basis in the Hobart CBD to support their corporate, travel and leisure accounts.

**Your new role**

Reporting to the Sales Manager you’ll mainly be responsible for actively working with both new and current client accounts to continue to develop long term relationships. You’ll also be responsible for the following;
- Visiting clients at networking events, trade shows and sales appointment as required.
- Actively develops and supervises new business leads and participates in external sales calls as necessary
- Work with the Sales and Marketing Managers to develop and implement a structured sales action plan to maximise business, with an effective balance in developing new markets and maintaining existing business
- Accurately ascertain the clients function and event needs ensuring client’s needs are met at all times with every effort to exceed expectations
- Ensures CRM is kept current and client records/activity is up-to-date
- Deals with customer complaints and comments, and passes on information to the relevant parties

**What you'll need to succeed**
- A great sense of humour and love to laugh
- Enjoy helping others and being part of a fun team
- Love all things travel and hospitality
- Nature communicator both written and verbal
- Previously experience in the hotel, travel, tourism or hospitality sector would be ideal
- Must have a full and current drives licence (intra and interstate travel is required for this role
- High level Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and Outlook in particular)
