Wahlburgers Australia and NZ is part of a family office with a diverse and integrated investment portfolio encompassing property, entertainment and hospitality assets. We are embarking on a significant growth phase over the next few years and are looking for a Account Payable/Payroll Officer (Casual) to join our close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Weekly payroll preparation utilising a fully integrated time and attendance system, covering both our Australian and New Zealand operations;
- Accounts Payable processing including company credit cards;
- Supplier statement reconciliation;
- Processing Credit Applications;
- Bank reconciliations including reconciliation of payment platforms;
- Preparation of weekly and other ad-hoc reports for management;
- Assist with month-end close; and
- Other jobs and projects as required by your superiors from time to time.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Accounting qualifications;
- Payroll experience (hospitality industry preferred) across Australia & NZ;
- Minimum 2 years experience post qualifications;
- Have experience using MYOB Advanced and Xero;
- Be fully proficient using Microsoft Office;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Have high attention to detail;
- Be a self-starter with ability to take direction, work in a team and autonomously;
- Have a 'can do' attitude; and
- Be technically competent.
