This position is with a tier one Litigation and Commercial Law firm in WA. Since its founding, it has been at the forefront of Western Australia’s legal landscape, rising to become one of the state’s top litigation and dispute resolution firms.
**About the job**
Providing comprehensive administration and human resource (HR) support to the HR Manager and their relevant teams. The portfolio is broad, complex and challenging and this role plays a proactive and integral role in achieving key objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.
The day-to-day responsibilities will include managing general administrative duties, including coordinating education/training conferences/workshops, meetings and, catering, travel arrangements, room bookings, assist with the drafting and maintenance of workplace policies & procedures, Occupational Health & Safety - ensuring compliance and enforcement, assist with the annual performance review process, fee earner KPI management and general management of workplace issues before escalation to the HR Manager.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in administration and/or Human Resources Management
- Previous experience working in a professional services firm, ideally a law firm
- Ability to build strong working relationships through highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Strong prioritising skills within complex workloads.
- Unique exposure to HR & recruitment within the law profession
- Building relationships with people at all levels of the organisation
- Enjoy working on multiple projects at one time
- Be involved with meaningful work
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
