12-month hourly rate contract seeking Change and Communications Manager for a government project

**Your new company**

Join a government agency, working across the whole of government to encourage an embrace of digital connectedness and drive the strategic direction and standards for ICT. You will be instrumental in ensuring transformation outcomes are met by leading the development of these change management plans and providing guidance and education to the broader department.

**Your new role**

Your new role will see you utilising your high level of interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Your strong organisational skills and strategic thinking will assist you as you develop the change management plans and content for this whole of government strategy. In addition, your duties will include:

- Providing guidance and support to project teams
- Support and influence change management and communication to support the government's objectives
- Lead the development of change management plans and material
- Lead the provision of communication advice and support, including developing communication plans and artefacts
- Facilitate workshops and conduct impact assessments with stakeholders to inform planning
- Guide stakeholders to build change management and communication capability
- Track and report progress, and measure success, including readiness surveys
- Develop and maintain a change management and communication toolkit

**What you'll need to succeed**

With your previous experience in building and supporting the development of change management methods, models, and tools, you will also have experience in:

- Demonstrated experience managing, delivering, and evaluating organisational change in a large complex government environment
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing best practice communication strategies
- Ability to think strategically, linking appropriate change delivery interventions to outcomes
- Building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Flexibility, strong organisation skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities to deliver within tight deadlines

**What you'll get in return**
