The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to work on initiatives to determine and deliver the pricing strategies for personal lines products in Australia in order to deliver on brand strategies and profit targets whilst managing design and implementation risks and alignment to IAG Pricing Principles. You will be part of a broader pricing community that designs the strategic pricing algorithm, builds the technical pricing models, develops the go-to-market pricing strategies and implementations.

Key Responsibilities
- Recommend go-to-market pricing strategies for personal lines products, utilising the technical models built by the technical pricing team and overlaying strategic and commercial considerations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, including portfolio teams, to determine the go-to-market pricing for personal lines products.
- Monitor the performance of pricing strategies for the personal lines products and contribute insights into broader Group and Divisional initiatives including budget setting.
- Collaborate with Technical Pricing team to interpret modelling insights and use model outputs for pricing and monitoring purpose
- Contribute to Implementation of appropriate and continuous monitoring and feedback loop in the pricing process

Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in a numerical or analytical discipline i.e. Actuarial, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field with demonstrated equivalent experience
- General Insurance Pricing or Actuarial experience in the Australian market or overseas
- Experience with Excel, SAS, R, SQL, Python or equivalent
- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to present and discuss complex information, analysis and findings to technical and non-technical audiences, using data visualisation as appropriate
