About the role
We are seeking a Specialist – Pricing Analyst to join our team and take ownership of managing and maintaining our Salesforce CPQ system. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely pricing support to the business, enabling the sales team to deliver precise quotes and proposals.
You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Business Units, and Supply Chain teams to manage price books, perform pricing and margin analysis, and drive improvements to quoting systems and processes. This is a hands-on role that combines analytical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update price books for private, public, and corporate accounts.
- Develop and manage quote templates for standard and customised proposals.
- Manage Salesforce CPQ updates with new product options, pricing strategies, and system improvements.
- Conduct pricing analytics, margin analysis, and deal profitability reviews.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure proposals are accurately booked.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to support complex proposals and deliver insights to support decision-making.
- Identify and support CPQ enhancements, testing, and change management initiatives.

Mandatory Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or related discipline (highly desirable).
- Salesforce CPQ certification (advantageous).
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven experience with Salesforce CPQ (or similar CPQ systems).
- Strong MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, B2B sales models, and gross margin principles.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercial awareness with a detail-oriented mindset and focus on accuracy.
Experience
- Experience in sales operations, pricing analysis, or a related commercial role.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and meet critical deadlines.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and constraints.
- Working with Salesforce CPQ or similar systems.
- Understanding of sales and configuration of complex capital equipment.
