We are a market leading Asian Grocery Store with plans expanding quickly. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Store Manager to join the team at our new Caulfield store.

We would expect you to have strong experience in customer service and leadership to lead the team with confidence. We would also expect high standards of presentation, ordering, merchandising and strong stock control experience.

Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, ordering, and replenishing displays, product preparation, rostering, team training and development and maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.

We are looking for a Grocery Store Manager with strong grocery experience.
- 40 hours per week contract

- Flexible rotating roster
- working 5 out of 7 days including weekends and early mornings
- High levels of autonomy and responsibility
- Work alongside friendly and supportive colleagues
- Attractive base salary + 10.5% superannuation
- Permanent - Full time position with rotational weekend work

**Qualification**
- Proven ability in managing inventory and merchandise.
- Experience in managing a team.
- Proficiency in multi and Chinese language preferred.
- A sound knowledge of supermarket best practice
- Strong leadership experience
- Experience in a supermarket environment.

- A good understanding of grocery products
- Must have experience using POS (point of sale system) and EFTPOS

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Managing a strong team Merchandising Stock and Date Management Rostering Recruitment
- Training and developing team members
- Managing and leading a highly competent team
- Ordering and maintaining stock availability
- Rostering and labour control
- Ensuring the store is well maintained and presented at all times

Applicants should be an Australian Resident, have local experience and or possess a valid unrestricted work visa.

**Salary**: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
