About us

Baker Bleu started as a small bakery in 2016, creating ethical and delicious sourdough bread for Melbourne to enjoy.

In the last 7 years, Baker Bleu has expanded rapidly with plans for further growth

Now with 3 locations across 2 states, Baker Bleu is proud to bring back the joys of real bread using the ancient techniques of long fermentation sourdough.

About the role

We are looking for Store Managers to lead our front-of-house team and manage the day-to-day running of the retail store.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Overall management of the front of house, including staff management and management of the retail store
- Ensuring all new staff are training and onboarded appropriately
- Overseeing the presentation of the shop and product merchandising
- Ensuring all stock is appropriately ordered, stored and rotated
- Liaising with key stakeholders on new products, inventory holding, wastage, customer feedback and opportunities to grow sales
- Managing stock takes and enter purchase orders upon arrival of new products
- Ensuring online / click and collect orders are efficiently managed
- Ensuring pack down, cleaning of equipment and restocking for the following days service is completed
- Championing a safe working culture by promoting safety, investigating incidents and developing corrective actions

To be considered, you will need have a significant amount of experience working within a retail, food retail or hospitality environment.

Minimum 1 year experience in a management role is also required.
