**Oriental Merchant** is an established wholesaler and distributor of authentic Asian food goods in the FMCG industry. We supply major supermarkets and independent grocery stores across Australia, New Zealand and Europe with brands and products familiar throughout the Asia Pacific region.

We are proud of what we have achieved in the Asian food category and are looking for a new addition to our team in this time of growth. Incredible opportunity for a Logistics Assistant to take the next step in their career progression.

**The role**:

- Preparing regular logistics reports.
- Aid in data analysis of inventory levels across all warehouses and provide insights into any potential issues or inefficiencies.
- Operation system support (SAP & WMS) - ensuring they are functioning efficiently and smooth logistics operations.
- WMS system testing, including all the logistics operations - processing sales orders, receiving purchase orders, stock adjustment, etc.
- Support the Logistics team in any other administrative and logistics-related duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Australian working rights.
- Advanced capabilities in the use of Microsoft Excel including but not limited to advanced formulas and pivot tables (Marco is desired not essential).
- Basic PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook skills.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
- High attention to detail and an obsession with data quality.
- Desired skills (not essential): Data analytics skills - programming languages.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
