**The Role**
The Defence Graduate and Entry Level Programs office is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual who enjoys working closely with people, and has a passion for recruitment, marketing and attracting the next generation of bright future leaders.

This role will work closely in a small multi-disciplined team to lead recruitment related activities for the Defence Graduate Program, STEM Cadetship Program and the Whole of Government Australian Government Graduate Program.

An aptitude for working in the marketing and recruitment space is desirable and any experience in the field would be advantageous. An understanding of changing workforce trends, including the emphasis placed on attracting science, technology, engineering, mathematics and cyber security qualified applicants is advantageous.

In this role emphasis is placed on people and organisational skills, and the ability to engage with graduates, stakeholders, suppliers, and graduate industry providers.

Under limited direction, you will:

- Partner with an out-sourced-service provider to administer the entire end-to-end recruitment processes
- Engage with Defence Groups and Services to understand their entry level programs workforce needs.
- Provide selection advice to senior executive and executive level stakeholders to inform decision making, including development of briefs and talking points to support and influence entry level workforce capability recruitment outcomes.
- Manage procurement and contracting activities to support recruitment campaigns, including managing recruitment contractors to deliver a suite of recruitment activities.
- Work closely with the APS 6 Manager Marketing and Outreach to shape engaging promotional campaigns across social media, web, video and in-person events.
- Supervise and an APS 5 member of the Marketing and Recruitment Team.

Organisational skills are also important in this role as during times of peak workload you will be relied on to prioritise tasks to ensure recruitment activities are delivered and stakeholder requirements are met.
