**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking for a Customer Account Principal to join our Perth Airport-based team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis.

**The Role**

The Customer Account Principal is responsible for:

- Acting as the customer point of contact: as well as the commercial liaison point for internal stakeholders; for contract variations and issues for day-to-day business on rail access; to proactively manage issues, concerns, and disputes effectively, build trust and respect, and anticipate and respond to stakeholder needs
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and lead the commercial review, negotiation, and finalisation of commercial agreements, including variations, extensions, and correspondence; whilst facilitating adherence to contractual and regulatory compliance and with Arc's obligations, rights, and strategic commercial objectives
- Responsibility for key metrics including financial analysis, assurance and reporting, and commercial performance reporting, to ensure the achievement of strategic goals

**About You**

To excel in this role you will have:

- Sound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across an organisation by building and developing relationships based on trust, integrity, and credibility
- Sound commercial and business acumen
- Demonstrated financial analysis skills
- Sound communication and negotiation skills, particularly commercial contract negotiation skills
- Demonstrated experience in an operational and/or commercial environment with customer interaction
- A degree in business or commerce preferable
