**The Role**
You will be part of a team that supports NCD in developing and implementing division-level strategic procurement practices.

Some of the tasks you might be expected to do include:

- Assist the Deputy Director and Manager procurement in undertaking end-to-end procurement process. This includes developing and issuing tenders and requests for quotation to the market, evaluating tenders, creating Purchase Orders and monitoring AusTender publication.
- Assist with the development of procurement plans and support to the Deputy Director and Manager procurement, to implement strategic procurement and contracting.
- Monitor contract data and assist business areas in contract management activities.
- Review and approve payment of invoices, and recordkeeping.
- Assist the Deputy Director and Manager procurement in Budget management activities for the Maritime Domain Support Branch.

**About our Team**
This role sits within the Directorate of Business Enabling Support (BES), within the Maritime Domain Support Branch (MDSB), Navy Capability Division (NCD). The BES team supports the division with procurement and contract management, costing services, strategic communication activities, and training and upskilling initiatives.
