**The Company**

Robert Half is currently recruiting a Finance Officer for an exciting company in Melbourne's CBD. This position is an ongoing temp role.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Officer will be required to confidently process day-to-day duties across accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, journals, accruals, assisting Accountants when required and communicate with clients, suppliers, team and stakeholders.

This is a great opportunity for a Finance Officer to join a professional team located in Melbourne's CBD, work blended duties and have the opportunity to work from home a few days of the week once trained

**The Role**

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for Finance Duties.

Some typical duties will involve:

- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Reconciliations
- Journals
- Accruals
- Process lease payments
- Finance Reporting of AR & AP

This position is moving quickly and is perfect for anyone seeking an ongoing temp position with a quick start.

**Your Profile**

To be successful you will have proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 2 year's experience. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:
Strong accounts experience high volume duties
- Strong Attention to Detail & Accuracy Skills
- Organisational Skills
- Effective communication skills
- Strong Knowledge in excel skills
- Work independently and in a team
- Able to start immediately
- Experience processing in XERO
