**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
The Health Promotion Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating health promotion programs and initiatives aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of the community. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, including health professionals, community groups, and organizations to provide expert oversight for the implementation of a complex system approach to improving the health and well-being of our elderly community.

**The core duties include**:

- Prepare reports and presentations to share findings and recommendations with stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate programs and make improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with community groups, public health organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues and health professionals to promote a coordinated approach to health promotion.
- Maintain accurate records of health promotion activities and budgets.
- Monitor program budgets and ensure resources are used efficiently.

**Involving**

1. Conduct needs assessments to identify priority health issues within the community.

2. Collect and analyse data to assess the effectiveness of health programs and initiatives.

3. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program activities and outcomes.

4. Manage budgets for health promotion programs and ensure resources are used effectively.

5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health promotion programs, using data to assess their impact and identify areas for improvement.

6. Collect and analyze health-related data, report findings, and make recommendations for future health initiatives.
- **Skills and Knowledge Required**:_
- Ability to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of various communities.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for delivering health education materials and presenting to diverse audiences.
- Experience with data collection, analysis, and program evaluation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other health-related software.
- Individual who speak Tagalog and Cantonese
