About the Role

We currently have a Finance Analyst opportunity for someone to join our finance team and support Sustainable Business Energy Solutions business unit.

This role is instrumental in ensuring all month end, half year and full year requirements are delivered on time with a high standard to enable effective decision making across senior leaders and the business. They will be involved in the build up of the Budget, Forecast and Plan as well as providing deep dive analysis around major budget and forecast variances with a view of providing insight on long term trends and risks to the P&L and balance sheet.

What you’ll be doing:

- Undertake all month end, half year and full year accounting and reporting requirements
- Analyse, interpret and correct anomalies across Opex and D&A as well as investigate and report on key variances.
- Complete monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the collation and reporting of non financial operational metrics
- Provide advice on accounting treatment for Gross Margin, Opex & Capex
- Assist with the formation and uploading of Budget, Forecast and Plan
- Provide input into the Board and Management accounts
- Perform other ad hoc requirements upon request in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
- Provide support for the external audit process

About You

What you’ll bring to the table:

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or related business discipline.
- CA/CPA qualifications
- Relevant practical experience in an accounting level role in similar or related businesses.
- Applied skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated superior analytical and conceptual skills.
- Proven experience in handling multiple responsibilities and meeting strict deadlines.
- Professional presentation and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, self-starter with flexible and collaborative work style.
- Continuous improvement mind set
