**About the Position**:
We are on the hunt for an analyst to support our sales team. You will be a key player in a small team and will be tasked with developing commercial offers and solutions for our pipeline of new and existing customers. The position will require a keen attention to detail and ability to understand, assess and optimise commercial outcomes for multiple entities simultaneously. Strong Excel skills are required. Additional skills, tasks and requirements are listed below:
- Bid support and opportunity analytics.
- Preparing sales reports and customer presentations
- Monitoring and reporting on initiatives, products, market and competitors
- Provide support for the sales team with the planning and execution of the campaigns
- Working with management on the development and review of sales budgets and forecasts
- Coordinating sales and administration activities
- Manage customer records within CRM
- Provide accurate data and report as required by the sales operations
- Manage customer enquiries and requests and allocate through appropriate sales team members
- Conduct market research for market trends, competitors’ analysis, and product development needs
- Identify sales opportunities through outbound calls or as directed by the department head
- Improve the sales operation through systems and data management
- Develop new, or else improve existing, Power BI dashboards according to evolving business needs
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for processes within the team
The position will be **part-time (2-3 days per week)** with future potential to increase to full time. The position is located in Sydney CBD. We support flexible working from home and team is designed to work remotely.
**About You**:
You are someone who has a positive can-do attitude and is eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment. You must have great analytic skills, but be able to communicate complex analyses into understandable presentations and concepts. We are looking for someone with with passion, who is open to ideas and ready to bring new ones to the table, with an eye for detail and a drive to succeed. Juggling multiple tasks and prioritising in line with business objectives in critical.
**Requirements and Skills**:
- Advanced Microsoft skills (PowerBI, PowerPoint, Excel, Dynamics 365)
- Analytic experience focused on commercial outcomes
- Excellent communication, to both internal and external stakeholders, both written and verbal
- Great attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work autonomously whilst being a strong team player
- Self-motivated, proactive problem-solver
