Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Digital, Airline operations and Customer Care to create and maintain a product backlog per business value and return on investment
- Provide vision and direction to the Agile development teams and stakeholders throughout the projects, and work with a BA to create requirements
- Plan, prioritise and manage the product feature backlog and development for the products
- Ensure iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories is of the correct standard whilst maintaining that the team always has an adequate backlog of prepared tasks to work on
- Assess value, develop cases and opportunity, prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Help lead the product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Follow our competitors and the industry, but most importantly drive innovation & a best-in
- class experience
Requirements and qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner, Agile Project Manager, Business Analyst or similar role in software development
- Knowledge of Agile process and principles and experience working Scrum
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative thinker with a vision
- Excellent attention to detail, influencing skills
- Relevant tertiary education
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or similar relevant field preferred
