Are you passionate about sharing the wonders of Hobart and beyond with enthusiastic travellers? We are seeking experienced and dedicated Tour Guides (full-time, part-time and casual) to join our team and create unforgettable journeys for our valued guests. Tours include Day Tours around Hobart and Multi-Day Tours all around Tasmania.
**Requirements**:
- Hold a valid Passenger Public Vehicle (PPV) provision to ensure safe and comfortable transportation for our guests throughout the tour.
- Possess a recognised First Aid certificate to prioritise the safety and well-being of our guests during the tour (Wilderness First Aid preferred).
- Light Rigid driver’s license required.
- Working with Vulnerable People Check: Hold a current Working with Vulnerable people check, ensuring a child-friendly and safe environment for families who join our tours.
- Possess a good understanding of Tasmania's history, attractions, and hidden gems. Prior experience as a Tour Guide in Tasmania is advantageous.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of the tour is flawlessly executed.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Ensure the safety and well-being of guests throughout the tour, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.**
- **Exemplary Customer Service & Personalised Service**:
As a tour guide, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service to our high-end clientele. Deliver a personalised and unforgettable experience by anticipating guests' needs, providing tailored recommendations, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the tour. Provide personalised service by understanding guests' individual preferences and catering to their unique needs.
- **Expert Knowledge and Commentary**:
Possess in-depth knowledge of the tour destinations, including historical, cultural, and natural aspects. Provide engaging and informative commentary, sharing captivating stories and interesting facts to enhance guests' understanding and appreciation of the locations visited.
- **Build Relationships**:
Foster positive relationships with guests, establishing rapport and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Engage in attentive and genuine interactions, ensuring guests feel valued and well-cared for throughout the tour.
- **Flexibility**:
Adapt to changing circumstances and guests' preferences with flexibility and grace. Demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our luxury travellers.
