We are searching for driver-guides with exceptional customer service skills and a flair for entertaining and engaging with people from diverse backgrounds. The role requires a genuine passion for creating truly memorable Australian experiences for visitors to our country.
With a variety of hours of work, looking after our day tours and groups, we have opportunities for casual, part-time, summer and/or contract work.
The job involves long days, you can expect to have three/four days off a week and still work full-time hours.
The position starts Mid-September.
Desirable criteria:
- Medium rigid licence (not essential), Public Passenger license, Current First Aid.
- Skilled in conveying both guiding and interpretive commentary specialising in the areas around Tasmania.
- Ability to remain calm and take control in the event of vehicle/traffic or guest incidents.
- Ability to demonstrate cultural sensitivities to all nationalities.
