**The opportunity**
We have a permanent opportunity for an Investment Analyst - QIC Office Fund (QOF) to join QIC’s Real Estate team in Brisbane.
The position’s core focus is to assist with preparation of annual total return and NOI budgets, monitor, measure, report, forecast and deliver total returns to meet / exceed outperformance targets. You will also assist with reviewing ongoing performance results relative to the Asset plan, strategy and budget to ensure objectives / targets are achieved and recommend adjustments and improvements where and when deemed necessary. You will collaborate with the Investment Manager to undertake financial modelling of projected future cashflows and valuations to determine investment performance (asset and portfolio) over a 10-year period.
With a background in real estate, you will be working alongside a team of dedicated experts in the field of property investment, to identify and monitor property levers and deliver quality insights into the performance of premium investment grade assets.
You will provide critical assessment of the asset plans and strategies in partnership with the leasing, property management and funds management teams.
You will have a degree in either Property Economics, Business, Economics or Commerce and previous experience in a property role property across investment or funds management, preferably within the office/commercial sector.
Ideally you will also have:

- An understanding of valuation methodology and investment analytical skills supported by practical experience
- A reasonable understanding of the property development and delivery process
- Basic understanding of the property development and delivery process and Australian Property investment markets.
- Intermediate use of spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Excellent verbal and written skills including the ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to meet deadlines and commitments
