**About the role**:
We are currently seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join our Real Estate Asset Creation and Investment Management team on an open term basis based in Brisbane or Melbourne. This is a unique and highly sought-after opportunity as this incoming Investment Analyst will be working on an interstate Super Regional Shopping Centre and mixed-use asset with upcoming development activities.

The successful applicant will have experience working in Investment Management, Development, Stakeholder Management and General investment activities who will be a proactive, passionate and analytical professional.

Key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Assist with preparation of annual total return and NOI budgets, monitor, measure, report, forecast and deliver total returns to meet / exceed outperformance targets (including short, medium and long term forecasting).
- Assist to identify, monitor, measure, report and implement property levers to assist with maximising investment performance and minimise downside risk.
- Participate in the development of Property Management P&L budget and Leasing strategy.
- Assist to manage the quarterly and annual valuation process by preparing information packages and progressing calculations and reports from draft to final.
- Assist with the ongoing strategy and leasing of Major and Mini Major tenants ensuring all working models are current and accurate for base rent, percentage rent, outgoings recovery, extended trade and reconciled.
- Cost tracking to monitor all project costs having regard to cost estimates, land prices, tenancy costs, master-planning, and head office assumptions.
- Prepare and present commercial assessments for various scheme options across multiple asset classes (mixed usages).
- Assist as required with land acquisition, master-planning, briefing, and managing Consultants as well as consulting with the Legal team regarding preparation and execution of all Consultant’s agreements.
- Assist as required with DA lodgement and preparation of project documentation.
- Assist with project delivery including design development, tender and construction.

**About You**:
You think strategically and have excellent attention to detail with demonstrated experience in analytics and financial modelling. A proactive go getter with the ability to work in a team environment and travel interstate when required.

You will also present with:

- Degree in Property Economics, Business, Economics, Commerce or relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in property across investment/project/valuation.
- A detailed understanding of valuation methodology and investment analytical skills supported by practical experience in excel and Forbury.
- Understanding retail/commercial industry detailed environment.
- A reasonable understanding of the property development and delivery process.
- A heightened understanding of property, financial, legal and development issues surrounding major property investments.
- An understanding of Australian Property investment markets.
- A working knowledge of regulatory requirements.
