**The opportunity**
- As the Cost Controller for our Endeavour Energy Alliance team you will be responsible for providing overall cost management, reporting, and forecasting requirements.
Reporting to the Alliance Manager you will enjoy fostering strong internal relationships whilst taking a proactive approach in delivering accurate information.
**Key Responsibilities include**
- Use sound cost principles to develop and maintain all project cost reporting, forecasting and trending tools that align to the projects daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual milestones and client requirements
- Ensuring that the projects standards, procedures, and systems / tools for cost control are implemented activities undertaken
- Carry out end of month processes and accurate financial reporting within required deadlines
- Accurate cost accruals for end of month reporting
- Review project costs and perform cost analysis where required
- Adjust forecast rates for staff resources
- Processing/reviewing weekly payroll
- Creating and updating purchase orders, work orders, and WBS elements in
- Processing of invoices
- Ensure accurate Cost allocation
**Requirements to be successful**
- Knowledge of financial management systems - SAP essential
- Advanced in MS Excel
- Business related qualifications in accounting or economics is highly desirable
- Proactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables, and work efficiencies
- Capable of prioritising work and managing time
