Easy Authoring is seeking a Program Financial Management Analyst for a high-profile government Client working on an exciting program of work.

**Key Responsibilities***:

- Build detailed knowledge of the program and setup/create program/project structures in place to track spending.
- Determine the financial implications of program activities on branch budgets
- Prepare bottom-up budget builds in discussion with business &
- Consolidation, preparation, review & update of individual program level rolling 12 month forecast each month in discussion with business
- Preparation of branch reports by program for discussion.
- Identify & flag program financial risks and design and/or carry out financial controls to mitigate financial risks at program level.
- Take necessary actions to address financial performance issues through monthly project variance analysis
- Determine financial drivers and design and/or carry out approach to increasing spend efficiency (cost vs outcome) and spend forecast accuracy.
- Advise changes to program contractual arrangements and operating guidelines to maximise financial outcomes and spending
- Understand and ensure traceability of source of funds to use of funds by program
- Provide PFM training and support to ‘non-finance’ resources required to perform PFM activities on low-risk programs.
- Provide payment & budget control advice to ensure spending inline within budget
- Perform any program closure activities including funding acquittal.
