**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity exists for a Human Resources Manager to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the Human Resources function for the hotel. This is a hands-on, highly operational role where you will work closely with leaders to align the colleague experience with Hyatt’s purpose of _caring for people so they can be their best_. You will also drive a culture that champions Hyatt’s Leadership expectations and values, prioritizing wellbeing, experimentation and inclusion.
**Some of the responsibilities include**:
- Business partnering with leaders to provide coaching and support in line with the needs of the business.
- Recruitment and onboarding of new associates aligned with Hyatt’s Employee Value Proposition.
- Administrative tasks including input of data, reporting and issuing of employment documentation.
- Fortnightly payroll processing and reporting in conjunction with the payroll team ensuring compliance and legislative requirements are achieved.
- Develop and implement an effective learning and development plan fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth across all levels of the business.
- Ensure the hotel and its policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with all relevant employment, safety and injury legislation requirements.
- Engagement activities including regular hotel, Hyatt and Essendon Fields activations and management of the Colleague Experience Survey at touch points through the year.
- Employment and industrial relations management including grievances and performance management ensuring effective processes in accordance with procedural fairness.

**Requirements**:
- Qualification in Human Resources, Hospitality or Business.
- Experience in industrial relations, employee relations, occupational health & safety and workers compensation is a must.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel environment would be highly advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure with ease.
- Strong training and coaching skills.
