CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay has an exciting opportunity for an Operational Administration Assistant to join our growing and supportive team in Brookvale

**About the role**:
As the Operational Administration Assistant, you will provide day to day operational support at our Brookvale family centre located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. In this role, you will provide quality administrative support and customer service support to our Integrated Services team and clients, contributing to the efficient and effective operating of the programs delivered.

While this role currently is a fixed term 12 month contract, there is the opportunity to extend to a permanent position.

**Duties**:

- Act as a point of contact for Integrated Services with an empathetic and non-judgmental communication style to our clients, who present with a broad range of challenges and issues.
- Manage expenses, banking, asset management and petty cash process, keeping accurate records and following procedures.
- Maintain supplies, stationery and amenities.
- Organise catering, room bookings and other items relevant to any events, training or meetings as needed.
- Assist in collecting and compiling relevant statistical information for the purposes of the agency and funding bodies as required.
- Other suitable duties as required from time to time to support the service within the skill set, knowledge and scope of the role.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated experience in administrative duties, relevant qualifications desirable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated professional approach to deal with confidential/sensitive matters.
- Excellent computer literacy.
- Knowledge of the community sector, social welfare and/or child protection legislation desirable.
- National Criminal History Check.
- Working with Children’s Check.
- Current NSW Driver’s License and access to an insured vehicle.
