**About the role**:

- Permanent full-time afternoon shifts (2pm - 10pm)
- Attractive remuneration
- Process client files for print production to premium a quality standard
- Creation & manipulation of digital files in compliance with technical specifications for various print technologies, e.g. separations & trapping
- Preparation for print production, including pre-flighting, proofing & soft proofing
- Generation of artwork using Adobe Suite & Esko (AE) platforms
- Adhering to client branding guidelines or following a client brief
- Execute & manage workload in accordance with production schedule
- Perform QA procedures for digital files & plates
- Monitoring of consumables for ordering purposes;
- Develop an understanding of continual improvement principles
- Liaise with other departments as required;
- Troubleshooting operating errors to determine causes & take actions to remedy issues
- Perform & document preventative maintenance of machinery.

**Criteria**:

- Certificate 3 in Graphic Prepress or overseas equivalent (essential)
- Intermediate skills in Illustrator & Photoshop (advanced preferred)
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook
- Apple Mac experience (intermediate or higher skill level)
- Thorough understanding of Prepress procedures
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent eye for detail & a passion for quality control

- Effective verbal & written communication skills with good active listening skills
- Good organisation, flexibility, hands-on practical approach with the ability to prioritise large workloads & work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build positive relationships within a team environment & across departments, a supportive team member
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision as well as part of team, self-motivated with a can-do attitude
- Excellent customer service skills (internal & external stakeholders).
