About the Institute
Located on Gadigal and Bidjigal land (Randwick NSW), Black Dog Institute is the only Medical Research Institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan, our aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone. Emphasising a devoted focus to into suicide prevention, digital mental health, a workplace mental health, we undertake a unique ‘translational’ research approach that allows us to turn our world-class findings into new treatments, prevention strategies, clinical services, educational programs, and e-health products. We join the dots by connecting research answers, expert knowledge, and the voices of lived experience to deliver solutions that impact and boost the health care system for patients and practitioners alike. **Skills and Experiences**:
The Role

The position will provide technical and research assistance to senior research staff in activities associated with the Growing Minds Australia funded research project entitled Improving non-response in anxiety disorder treatment: a personalised care approach. The project aims to advance personalised mental health care and improve outcomes for children and young people with anxiety disorders who do not respond to standard care. It will do this by bringing the field together and harnessing data from existing clinical trials.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Synthesizing up to 60 datasets
- Set-up a database as an ongoing resource on ERICA, a secure cloud storage platform
- Finalise the project website and coordinate website updates
- Liaise with contributors to obtain data sharing agreements
- Set-up processes for contributors
- Conduct focus groups with individuals with lived experience
- Manage the project newsletter
- Undertake mandatory training, including GCP and research integrity training

Skills & Experience Required
- A university degree in statistics, science, health, psychology or related discipline, or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through a combination of education, training, or experience.
- Ability to manipulate and manage data
- Experience coordinating and conducting research projects.
