We have an exciting opportunity for passionate and motivated individuals to join United for Care in the position of **General Manager - Property**.**

**Our Purpose**

**About the position**

As Head of Property, you are responsible for the planning, direction and co-ordination of the operations of All SDA and UFC properties.

The role encompasses multiple disciplines and will be both strategic and operational, and will require you to be creative in your approach to achieve maximum occupancy. You will also oversee the delivery of professional, reliable and effective property maintenance services to United for Care properties, to ensure the proper operation of all aspects of the buildings to create an optimal, safe and cost effective environment for our Participants in the Sydney CBD and regional areas.

The role includes and not limited to;
- Lead Service Delivery for ALL SDA Property teams to provide services aligned with a participants desired lifestyle and choice.
- Developing and implementing strategies designed to grow the business and that is aligned with UFC's organisational strategic goals.
- Oversight of implementing Accommodation Agreements, vacancy management tracking and ownership over lease vacancies to maximise occupancy and revenue.
- Engage with COO and CEO in broader organisational strategic planning with regular reporting of updates and results.
- Advising on future innovative SDA developments and implementing best practice incorporating the knowledge built up over time in order to ensure the best possible outcome for new facilities and our participants.
- Work with the Finance to establish budgets and financial plans and ensure operations remain within budgetary limits.
- Ensuring compliance and minimising risk through implementing Quality Management Systems and driving Continuous Quality Improvement practices.

**About You**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in the field or demonstrated considerable experience.
- A background in property or senior role with end-to-end residential property management.
- Expert knowledge of all SDA design catergories, SDA design standards, legislations and industry best practices.
- Excellent knowledge in excel and other Microsoft operating systems.
- Strong leadership skills to influence and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Awareness, understanding, and sensitivity to people with disabilities and ability to communicate with people from various cultures.
- Demonstrated understanding of available community services, networks and supports.
- Awareness and understanding of the NDIS (desirable)
