**About the role**
- The Procurement Manager is responsible for the strategy, negotiations and management of the procurement processes in a manner that derives value and complies with the obligations of the Project Alliance Agreement.
- Liaise with appropriate stakeholders and ensure any sustainable, environment and resourcing strategies are incorporated into the procurement processes and procurement activities.
- Implement and manage subcontracts with assistance from delivery teams to ensure vendors comply with their contract requirements and provide all their contract deliverables in an effective and compliant manner.
- Actively create, co-ordinate, conduct and assess RFQs in manner that is compliant with PAA and associated Project Documents (including management plans).
- Ensure procurement activities are conducted in a manner that is consistent with probity requirements and ensure any conflicts of interest are recorded and managed appropriately in accordance with the PAA and project requirements.

**About You**
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in supply chain management and procurement.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
- Experience in working in procurement and contract management on large rail, road or civil projects.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral with strong negotiation and influencing skills working with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, collaborative working environment.
