**The Project**

The Utilities business are the preferred contractor on two of the largest energy infrastructure projects within the Australian energy sector, one of these projects is in Queensland. These exciting opportunities secure a pipeline of work until 2027 and include the design & construction of new transmission lines and substations.
- Your role as the Procurement Manager sill be to lead a team of Specialist Inventory Forecasting and Materials Management staff to provide Material Planning, Forecasting and Materials Management for UGL business requirements. Review processes to remove non-value-added activity or improve process output and provide additional training as required

**About the role**
- Attract, lead, and coach a team of procurement professionals
- Developing and deploying the project procurement strategy according to project requirements.
- Manage the development of procurement, local engagement, logistic and storage management plans
- Identification and execution of appropriate supplier engagement models for projects.
- Leading the development of RFQ’s including technical specs, scope, schedule, delivery terms, commercial terms back-to-back with head contract

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications supported by solid experience in a senior leadership role in strategic and operational purchasing disciplines preferably with a background in the utilities and infrastructure industries;
- Experience and sound understanding of manufacturing resource planning systems and procedures;
- Sound understanding of budgetary, cost control, performance measurement activities;
- Experience in developing high performance teams involving multiple disciplines.
- Solid Influencing skills and the ability to achieve outcomes in an environment of managing complex stakeholder relationships, including key business partners
