**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Ongoing Full Time
- Base salary $103,544 + 11.5% superannuation
- Based at Leongatha depot - flexible work arrangements considered
- Backbone of our depot operations

As the Coordinator Operational Support, you will lead a dedicated team that provides essential logístical, financial and administrative support to the Infrastructure Maintenance (IM) and Open Space & Environment (OS&E) teams.

This pivotal leadership role will ensure our customer service, procurement, and workshop operations run smoothly while fostering a culture of collaboration and service excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

- Oversee the Logistics & Procurement, Workshop, and Depot Customer Service teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Provide support to staff and foster an innovative environment through mentoring, training and clear communication.
- Manage financial transactions, including budgeting, purchasing (plant & fleet), and activity-based costing.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support emergency planning and response efforts at the depot.
- Ensure depot staff have the necessary PPE, uniforms, and supplies to meet operational needs.

**ABOUT YOU**:
To be successful, you will bring:

- A tertiary qualification in Business (or a related discipline), with relevant experience in a similar business related role.
- Proven ability to lead a diverse and complex team in an operational environment.
- Experience in financial asset management, contract management, and budgeting.
- Strong customer service and request management skills.
- High-level problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Self-motivation and proactive attitude.
