**Our Transition**

EnergyAustralia is actively transitioning its portfolio - we are doing not just talking. In the last year we have made substantial investment commitments across utility storage (lithium ion and pumped hydro) and flexible gas/hydrogen generation, all of which will support a high renewables grid.

**About the Role**

The Billing team works with cross-functional groups of stakeholders to deliver changes across billing, with the objective of improving our customer experience and streamlining processes. The team’s work is predominantly based upon the customer experience and relies on cross-functional collaboration, commitment to ongoing business improvement and a tireless delivery mindset.

The role will see you Lead transformation to automate billing ensuring compliance and customer experience are at the forefront of consideration. And ensure timely and accurate billing for our Residential and Mass Market customers.

You will act as the business partner to our frontline teams and Residential & Business groups. Specifically, you will be
- Driving multiple improvements and change initiatives simultaneously
- Providing guidance and operational leadership to project teams, including government interventions, on changes to bill-related messaging
- Develop and lead a culture of high performance to produce flexible, collaborative and customer-focused teams.
- Lead offshore teams, working proactively with multiple vendors, distributors and meter Data Providers to ensure our billing is accurate and timely
- Providing thought leadership at the cutting edge of technology-enabled billing
- Providing leadership and delivery of customer facing billing process improvements
- Perform “Data analysis” and work on “ data insights driven” optimization activities.

**About You**

You will have proven experience working with stakeholders at all levels, to ensure everything we do has the customer in mind. Also, you will have
- A proven track record integrating changes across the many delivery teams
- Be able to own and optimise operational billing processes and business rules to maximise accuracy and reduce delayed billing
- Ensure that billing processes are effectively managed for the of billing functions and covering all meter types.
- Develop strong relationships with external vendors to ensure positive outcomes
- Strong customer experience / customer advocacy experience, with an understanding of the downstream implications and opportunities relevant to customer-facing bill content messaging
- Experience working in conjunction with technology and digital teams will be viewed favourably
