
Management and Organisation Analyst

Cappercullen Constructions Pty Ltd is a construction company based in Sydney. We have recently been awarded several new projects and need to recruit a Management and Organisation Analyst in our growing construction company, you will play a vital role in enhancing our project management methods, improving our operational processes, and supporting our continued expansion and success and aiming at achieving and improving client satisfaction.
**Competencies Required**:
- Strong analytic skills, with ability to illustrate a very robust fact-based approach to problem solving and improvements.
- Strong work ethic, and constant engagement with all relevant members of the organisation to achieve goals.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to engage with all groups within both the project team and the clients.
- Highly proficient in Excel, XERO accounting software, Microsoft teams.
- Run focus groups with project management, site managers and senior management to brainstorm and collect ideas for improvements.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in business management, Engineering or equivalent.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Technology Integration - Evaluate opportunities to make the most of technological solutions within the construction industry, such as project management software, digital timesheet, and communication platforms, to improve communication, enhance collaboration and improved decision making within the organisation.
- Tracking KPI’s - Improve and develop KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) within the organisation. To track progress on our many projects and operations, ideally KPI’s put in place will measure the effectiveness of operational procedures, monitor progress, and improve these processes over time. Identify areas which need attention and improvement within our processes and recording systems.
- Business Process Management - Assess existing management and operational procedures in place across various departments of the organisation. These include Project Management on site, Project Management in the office, resource allocation, tracking processes and administrative tasks, in order to find areas for improvement.
- Reporting and Data Analysis - Collect, analyse, and understand data related to all aspects of a project, conduct regular progress reporting to stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and senior management. Utilise resources to do so and conduct testing for better data analyse within the organisation. Analyse differences between planned outcomes and progress of a project compared to actual outcomes in order to find areas of improvement. Clear and concise data including excel spreadsheets including areas such as budget tracking, cost analysis and profitability analysis. Prepare and recommend plans to improve all of the above processes.
- Risk Management and Compliance - Assess potential risks within the organisation and develop and improve processes in order to manage risks effectively, work with project managers and senior management to ensure compliance at the highest level with relevant industry standards.
- Resource Management
- Resource Allocation: Optimize resource allocation by identifying staffing needs, equipment utilization, and material requirements.
- Labor Productivity: Create reports to include analysis of labour productivity metrics such as work hours, labour costs, and output per worker.
- Equipment Utilization: Create reports to evaluate the efficiency of equipment usage and recognise openings for improvement.
**Qualification and Experience**
Pay: $70,000.00 per year
