**The Opportunity**
- Manage and oversee external contractor onboarding process from initial appointment through to finalisation of probation including initial onboarding training and continual improvement to meet quality and performance requirements
- Work with People and Advancement team to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ an appropriate number of employees
- Manage and oversee new employee onboarding process from initial appointment through to finalisation of probation including initial onboarding training
- Developing team members through coaching, constructive feedback, counselling and recognitions
- Providing leadership support to the team and Assessing Operations Manager for escalated claims
- Provide advice and feedback on errors and/or omissions in relation to method, scope, cost of repair and/or report structure
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including customers, clients, trades and staff

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- 5+ years’ experience in assessing experience
- 3+ years leading and managing a team (highly desirable)
- Proven results of team performance
- Ability to understand skills gaps and remediate by coaching and mentoring
- High attention to detail
- Effective communication skills; both written and verbal
- Intermediate computer skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Proactive and committed
- Personable and approachable
- Strong organisation and time management capabilities
- Ability to travel when required.
