**Employment type - **Temporary (Up to 12months) Full time 35 hours per week
**Salary - **$**139,787 - $161,663pa, plus super and leave loading (Clerk Grade 11/12)
**Your role**
As the manager of the Countering Violent Extremism unit, you will Lead and manage the functions relating to the assessment, service and program provision to offenders convicted of terrorism or pose a risk to national security in line with the legislative requirements (including the Terrorism (High Risk Offenders) Bill 2017).

**What you’ll do**
As part of the Countering Violent Extremism team, you’ll develop, implement, and manage relevant policies, procedures, and strategies to meet state countering violent extremism and counter terrorism initiatives, and provide high level advice to the Executive, stakeholders, and operational managers in relation to all assessment, support and therapeutic aspects for appropriate decision making.
**What we’re looking for**
Oversee and evaluate quality assurance processes to ensure effective staff support and high-quality service delivery, with a focus on ongoing program monitoring and assessment to achieve optimal program effectiveness.
Ability to coordinate and supervise the collection of data, research trends and recommend new evidence-based processes for integration where appropriate.
Expertise in advancing government-driven initiatives by contributing to the development and implementation of a framework that balances security activities and community interests with clinical operations.
Ability to lead a diverse, multi-disciplinary team to foster an environment that encourages offender participation in programs while achieving modified therapeutic outcomes within a correctional setting.
**Essential requirement**
All applicants will undergo a clearance check by Corrections Intelligence Group (CIG) under Clause 94 & 100 (4) of the Crimes (Administration of Sentences) Regulation 2014’ and may be required to obtain heir NV1 Clearance as a condition of employment.
