**The Role**

In this 12 month role, you'll gain invaluable experience working with senior leaders and key stakeholders. You'll enhance your skills in financial governance, project accounting, and regulatory compliance. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead process improvements and contribute to the strategic direction of our financial reporting. Your career will flourish as you develop a deeper understanding of the superannuation and financial services industry.

As the External Reporting Lead, you will be accountable for:

- Delivering accurate and timely financial information to the UniSuper Board and various committees.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting obligations.
- Driving processes that support a reliable general ledger and robust month-end/year-end processes.
- Reviewing project costings and ensuring correct accounting treatment.
- Preparing and presenting Board and Committee reporting packs and papers.
- Managing relationships with external bodies such as auditors and actuaries.
- Leading process improvements and supporting team development.

**About You**
- Have a CA or CPA qualification.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in finance, ideally with a background in a big 4 professional services firm.
- Have strong knowledge of accounting standards, superannuation, and investment accounting.
- Possess analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to see the big picture.Exhibit excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
