We're looking for a confident
Statutory Reporting Lead
to take charge of financial reporting, lead a capable team of three based in Melbourne, and help us lift the value finance brings to the business. This role reports directly to the and plays a key part in both day-to-day operations and strategic projects.
About the Role
- Own statutory reporting, APRA returns, and tax lodgment processes.
- Lead and develop a small high-performing finance team.
- Drive process improvements and automation across finance operations.
- Partner with senior leaders and executive team on reporting and compliance.
- Work closely with auditors, tax partners, and regulators.
What You'll Bring
- CA/CPA qualified with a minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience.
- Strong background in financial statements and regulatory reporting.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Experience working with APRA, ATO, and external auditors.
- Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving change.
Insurance or APRA-regulated experience is a bonus. MYOB knowledge is handy but not essential.
