**_ Where you’ll be working_**
The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

**_ What you’ll be doing_**
The Research Manager will manage and coordinate the Cancer Institute's research impact program to demonstrate the value of research translation and innovation in improving cancer care across NSW. This role will support the coordination and monitoring of the institution's research outputs and activity and will be responsible for following emerging research discoveries, innovations and programs of work at a state, national and international level.

**_ Essential requirements_**
- Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification in an appropriate discipline such as health, public health or health promotion or equivalent, and relevant professional experience and training.
- Demonstrated expert understanding of the NSW and national cancer research sector including knowledge of research outcomes, trends, issues, policies and practices.
- Ability to understand and communicate scientific research terminology clearly and concisely for diverse audiences.
- Strong communication, qualitative and analytical skills.
