**The Company**:
We are privately owned civil construction company who specializes in utility construction and maintenance with a core business focus on water and sewerage infrastructure.

**The Opportunity**:
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the assigned work crew is performing to its best potential, and project works are being delivered to the satisfaction to our clients and relevant stakeholders.

**Responsibilities (not limited to)**:
In conjunction with the Project Manager/Construction Manager plan and organise the resources required to construct the works.
- Facilitate the efficient construction of works by adequate site management of all plant, equipment, materials, labour and sub-contractors necessary for the completion of the
project.
Undertake the construction of project works in accordance with the contract specifications, construction drawings and standard drawings; and meet the project targets with respect to program, quality and cost to us and the Client.Co-operate with other company staff to ensure the reliable provision of materials, plant and labour to complete works on time and on budget.Liaise and co-ordinate with the Project/Construction Manager and Project Engineer as required on all relevant construction issues.Co-operate and liaise with all parties associated with the works, including the public, to ensure positive working relations.Comply with our policies and procedures.Undertake hazard identification and risk assessment, and carry out construction works using safe work practices and ensure the safety of workers and the public at all times.Ensure a safe working environment is provided for all team members.
- Ensure our professional standards and company objectives are maintained in relation to company reputations, service quality, OH&S and environmental standards.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to lead a team of 4-5.
- Strong comprehensive understanding in water and sewer installations.
- Has knowledge with SEQ Standards.
- Has experience with the following watermain and sewermain pipe materials.
- Sound knowledge of PE, DICL (ductile Iron/concrete lined), PVC, Sintakote Steel.
- Capable of understanding site drawings, levels and grades.
- A Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience and/or training in a similar
role.
- White Card.

**Salary & Benefits**:
