Position Purpose

HJK Management Solutions is seeking experienced Construction Workers with proven capability in jump form, screen systems, core decks, columns, walls, and slab construction.

You will play an integral part in the safe and efficient delivery of major concrete structures across Queensland's commercial and infrastructure sectors.

This role suits qualified tradespeople who take pride in precision work, understand complex formwork systems, and thrive in fast-paced environments where safety, teamwork, and productivity are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Erect, strip, and maintain a range of formwork systems, including:

  • Jump form and self-climbing core systems for lift shafts and stair cores.

  • Screen systems for high-rise edge safety and pour decks.
  • Table form and deck systems for large, suspended slabs.
  • Conventional and custom formwork for walls, columns, beams, and slabs using various systems

Skills & Experience

  • Construction White Card – mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in formwork carpentry across high-rise or large-scale civil/infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in jump form, screen and table form systems.
  • Skilled in deck, wall, and column setup.
  • Excellent understanding of safe work practices and compliance under Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (QLD).
  • Physically fit with stamina to meet site demands and perform manual labour in all conditions.
  • Trade qualification in Formwork Carpentry (Cert III or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong reliability, communication, and ability to work unsupervised or as part of a coordinated crew.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, night shifts, or weekends depending on project schedules.
  • Consistent commitment to quality workmanship, reliability, and presentation.
  • Strong teamwork and communication with supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
