- Rostered Day Off (RDO) - one day off per month
**The Role**
***This opportunity is available to oversee the quality and performance of the WorkReady team.
This position is responsible for ensuring that individual and team measures are exceeded (including customer experience), streamlined organisational processes are implemented and services are delivered to the required quality standard. As a Team Leader, you will ensure that participants, families and regulators needs and wants are at the centre of decisions and processes.
You will contribute to strengthening the Ability Options WorkReady team brand across region and maintaining strong disability and mainstream sector relationships.
**About You**
As a Team Leader WorkReady, you will have a highly empowering style with the ability to build effective professional relationships with team members, participants, community organisations and other stakeholders including Government departments.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate:
- A solid knowledge of our organisation, disability and employment divisions, local community, funding body programs, plans and contractual requirements
- Coordinate self and team to ensure the quality service delivery that leads to planned participant outcomes
- Monitor and manage team performance and put in place plans to continuously improve performance and efficiency.
- Role model the organisations’ culture and values - supporting the WorkReady team to achieve the Ability Options’ Mission
- Provide coaching and supports to direct reports in their performance duties, monitoring and providing appropriate feedback in accordance with Ability Options policies and procedures.
- Maintain effective relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including other Disability and Employment Team members, employers, partners and community stakeholders
- Your flexibility to work over multiple locations to ensure the program runs smoothly and our customers get prompt, high level service
**Essential Criteria**
- Working knowledge of NDIS, in particular SLES and FAKJ
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with client and people management systems
- Financial Management
- Related tertiary education/or significant experience
- Experience in customer focused roles
- Experience working with in the disability service sector highly regarded
- Satisfactory background checks including NDIS Workers Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current driver’s licence (minimum P2)
