**About Lumi**
Lumi is a global brand, and the leading digital platform facilitating in-room, hybrid and virtual Annual General Meetings (AGMs) for the world’s largest corporations and membership organisations. Our platform digitises the entire lifecycle of an AGM in a single solution, that enables sophisticated meeting facilitation before, during and after the live meeting.
Based on proprietary, patented technology, Lumi provides software, hardware and services that assist companies, registrars or event organisers to securely register delegates, provide live, secure polling, Q&A management services and relevant reporting.
**The Role**
The Junior Event Technology Specialist is responsible for the smooth running and delivery of our client’s AGMs and member meetings in all stages of the process. These AGMs can take place onsite and may require you to travel, or will be run virtually from our offices in Sydney or Melbourne.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing company in a sector of the meetings industry which continues to be innovative, and brings technology to the forefront. It is also an opportunity to work alongside many major companies, membership associations and sporting federations. This position is incredibly varied and will suit someone working well within a team as well as being self-motivated to deliver successful meetings.
**Areas of responsibility**:
- Delivering meetings whether it may be onsite or remotely
- Supporting clients in the lead up to their meeting
- Attending pre-meeting run throughs with clients
- Producing broadcasts / facilitating voting and Q&A in our software
- Implementation of solutions onsite, in live environments
- Ensure that our products and services are delivered to the highest possible standards
**Daily activities**:
A typical day for you at Lumi can be unpredictable and varied. You could be involved in the production of your next meeting (or supporting one of your colleagues), onsite or remotely running a meeting.
Travelling around Australia will feature in this role.
**Training**
Comprehensive training will be provided on Lumi software, hardware, client relationship management and project management.
**On Offer**
- The equivalent permanent salary is $45,000 - $55,000 p.a. + super (based on experience)
- Opportunity to work overseas (in the past 6 months, members of the Australian team have worked in the UK, Singapore, Belgium and France)
**Office**
We are currently recruiting employees for our North Sydney office. However applicants for our Melbourne office will also be considered.
While the meetings we produce are typically delivered from these offices or at onsite locations (typically conference centres & hotels), we offer a hybrid approach of office and remote working when not running these events.
- Eligible to live and work in Australia
- Capable of managing several projects simultaneously
- Have good general knowledge of IT
- Be proficient in the use of MS office
- Proactive, flexible, enthusiastic, and mature in their approach to work
- Highly motivated with a positive can-do attitude
- Be confident and comfortable in client-facing situations
- Have strong communication skills within the team and high-profile clients
- Cope well with pressure and be able to work to tight deadlines
- Work well by themselves and in team environments
- Excellent attention to detail
- Passionate and knowledgeable about technology and working with it, and open to learning new software/programs
- Enjoy travelling, within Australia, and have a flexible approach to working hours
- Be capable of lifting 23kgs of equipment
- Hold a full AUS driving license
- In addition, a client facing background would be advantageous

**Hours of work**:
Office hours are typically 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, these will however vary per your schedule. Events may require you to be on-site during weekends and public holidays. Time off in lieu will be given for any work carried out at these times.
