**The role**:
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in their head office in Chatstwood, reporting into the Accounts Manager.

It is an Accounts Assistant role, so other accounting support such as AR, reporting etc in MYOB will form part of the role, as well as assisting the contracts administrator.

There is career progression available along either the Accounting or CA stream, within 2 years.

**Duties will include**:

- Manage full process for receipt, approval and payment of invoices.
- Liaise with site teams to ensure documentation is checked and signed off before sending to Accounts Payable.
- Identify discrepancies in information supplied and/or missing information.
- Liaise with Contract Administrator to correctly allocate cost codes.
- Ensure invoices received for payment are registered into the system accurately with all information as pending approval.
- Field enquiries from vendors, internal stakeholders.
- Assist in reconciliation of vendor accounts.
- Record and file relevant documentation, ensuring security and confidentiality is maintained.
- Assist with credit card reconciliations, cheques and banking

**To be considered**:

- Degree qualification in Accounting or equivalent
- Experience working on the head contractor side of construction, understands subcontractor payments.
- Jobpac cost management system
- **A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within a Construction company is a must**
