About Us

Engage Construction is a Sydney-based building company specialising in remedial construction and refurbishment projects across the residential and strata sectors. We work closely with engineers, building managers, and strata committees to deliver high-quality, compliant repairs with mínimal disruption to occupants.

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Site Foreman to lead the day-to-day site delivery of our remedial projects. If you’re a hands-on leader with strong coordination skills and take pride in delivering high-quality work, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As our Site Foreman, you will take ownership of remedial projects on site — managing trades, safety, and quality while ensuring timely delivery. You’ll work closely with the Project Director and our office team, playing a key role in the successful execution of defect rectification, waterproofing, facade repair, and structural remediation works.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations and lead the delivery of remedial works
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and material deliveries
- Maintain project timelines, budgets, and high-quality standards
- Work on the tools as required - especially carpentry and minor building works
- Ensure full compliance with WHS requirements and site safety standards
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and scopes of work
- Liaise with engineers, building managers, and strata representatives on-site
- Identify and resolve issues promptly and professionally

Please Note: This is a salaried role with flexibility based on project demands. You’ll be the key site contact and may need to start at 7am or adjust hours depending on site access and project progress. Accountability and reliability are essential.

About You
- Proven experience as a Site Foreman or Leading Hand in remedial or strata repair projects
- Carpentry trade qualification or relevant building background
- Strong knowledge of waterproofing, concrete repair, facade works, and defect rectification
- Skilled in interpreting engineering reports, scopes, and drawings
- Excellent organisation, leadership, and communication skills
- Hands-on, practical mindset with attention to detail
- White Card and valid driver’s licence
- Own tools and vehicle required
- Must have full Australian working rights (we are not offering sponsorship at this time)

Pay: $69,369.19 - $120,000.00 per year
