The community team creates word-of-mouth excitement and grows the lululemon collective by sharing our best in the world technical product with key fitness and lifestyle influencers, media, local partners, by creating best-in-class experiences and working with the Brand team to amplify this to the collective. The community team drives the local strategy and builds a plan that comprises broad and deep tactics to accelerate growth and long-term brand love and are best in the world at building relationships, online to offline tactics and delivery of KPI’s. **A day in the life**: Reporting to the Area Community Manager, the Area Community Lead is a people and industry leader whom identifies what is needed now on a store-by-store, region-by-region level. They train, coach, consult and/or amplify to support an integrated local community strategy through an innovative mix of traditional and non-traditional means. This leader is accountable for understanding how lululemon creates authentic and scalable connection points across both Australia and New Zealand that drive results. They are an excellent communicator to both the store teams, SSC team partners and peers and support spreading the news of great community from the store level to AUS/NZ as well as global. - You work directly with retail partners (Store Managers, Regional Managers and Community Foundation Leads) to coach & consult on annual market community strategies, as well as localizing brand campaigns that drive business results. - You are responsible for leading and developing the Community Foundation Lead program (CFL) across Aus/Nz to drive the execution of key city events, campaign implementation and strategies that build credibility and drive sales in key product categories. - You support new market growth and expansion as well as successful new-store openings by creating sustainable and strategic community plans in partnership with the Store Manager, Regional Managers and New Store Opening Team. - You drive area-wide initiatives that drive brand awareness, create new guest acquisition and retention. - You are connected to the 18-month brand strategy and ensure it is reflected in local market strategy. - You have a strong brand filter. You have an ability to identify talent, partnership opportunities and activations that will drive business outcomes. You work closely with the brand team to ensure our brand shows up consistently and powerfully. - You ensure that key categories of opportunity are highlighted and "always-on," specifically the men’s business and pants. - You track and measure impact of local tactics and reactive actions (including storytelling, partnerships, guest sentiment, trial, GDC and traffic) to articulate the results of our local community work to the ACM. - You coach and enroll teams to create transformative relationships, build community-specific strategies, and maintain a healthy community budget. **The KPIs of the Area Community Lead are**: - Collective growth - measured through key initiatives & events. - Brand Awareness, consideration and retention - measured through key initiatives & events. - Retail sales - measured through specific sales drivers including NSOs. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field and 3+ years' experience in the marketing field or proven community expertise at a store leadership level (ASM and above) - You make connections with your community easily and effortlessly and thrive on building relationships - Prior experience in a management level position with proven ability to provide advice to other managers on your area of expertise - Successful experience in remote coaching & consulting to drive a result - Successful facilitation & training skills - Strategic thinker who has delivered results through execution at a local & regional level - Consumer experience with a youthful, cutting edge, influential brand - Excellent managerial skills, with a reputation for being flexible, energetic, hardworking, inspirational, enthusiastic - Eligible to live & work in AUS/NZ - Ability to work in a fast paced and lively environment - Ability to work to deadlines, work quickly to change - Ability to give & rec
