About the role The Operations Reporting & Support Analyst is a key member of the Operations team and required to work closely with our offshore reporting BAU support, Profit Centres, as well as key stakeholders within Australia and APAC. This role will work closely with the Head of Operations and support the day-to-day report scheduling and monitoring, as well as tasks undertaken by offshore teams with regards to report development. As a member of the team, they will assist in the development and support of reports and their servicing. The role will work within agreed Service Levels and KPI’s and ensure quality standards are maintained and where possible exceed. They will also be a key resource for contributing to the continuous improvement of our reporting by identifying reporting and operational issues and actively working to remediate and improve. What you will be doing: - Operational report development, scheduling, and maintenance - Working within the Reporting Framework and further assisting in improvements - Actively collaborating with team members both within in Australia and offshore to deliver reporting requirements within the required timeframes - Driving consistency in approach to ensure standardisation in report development - Partnering with and building relationships with key stakeholders to determine business requirements for reporting, manage expectations and drive customer satisfaction - Ensuring data quality issues are reported and remediated. - Ongoing analysis of BAU reports for identification of areas for improvement and focus for the operations leadership team. - Maintain and deliver standardised artefacts and carry out regular reviews to ensure consistency, quality of work, and adherence to the Operations Reporting Framework - Works closely with the teams to action report development and improvements - Support reporting requirements across various business projects in operations What we’re looking for: - Excellent computer skills, with advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Power BI and SQL is a must - Strong communication skills, can demonstrate that they have effectively communicated with stakeholders including senior leaders, peers and other staff with ability to influence, coach and counsel - Analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills with attention to detail - Have proven operations experience in either Insurance or Financial Services - Ability to work autonomously when required.
