**About the role**
In this role, you will support the department leadership team providing cross functional support and business improvement in a range of areas that drive efficiency, optimise performance & excellence in a customer focused environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advanced research and data analysis capability using GIS systems, mobile solutions and Business Improvement tools
- Collating and analysing available information to ensure the department is receiving value from contractors and efficient and effective internal resource utilisation
- Engaging with key stakeholders whilst assisting with departmental and organisational projects
- Developing and maintaining systems that assist in providing information on maintenance schedules, resource requirements & allocation, service levels and targeted use of resources
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will be self motivated and customer focused with the ability to collaborate with others.
Essential Experience:
- Extensive research and problem-solving skills including proven ability to analyse issues and develop practical recommendations for process improvements.
- Experience in scheduling and resource requirements, practices and work systems to optimize customer experience and deliver on business plans
- Demonstrated record of achievement in developing innovative proposals and changing an existing system for enhanced resource utilisation and financial management.
- Technical knowledge and/or experience in maintenance requirements and asset management
- Proven experience in the development and improvement of systems, processes and procedures with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to determine high level program delivery across multiple functional work areas, resolve service delivery issues, and set operational work allocation
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in related disciplines such as business management or project management. A current drivers licence and working with children check
